High Chair to Higher Education© (HCHE)

The High Chair to Higher Education© (HCHE) program empowers youth to aspire toward higher education through the creation of self awareness, avoidance of risk taking behaviors, and participation in positive, esteem building activities. The program is targeted at youth of all races and ethnic backgrounds, especially those from the African- American culture. HCHE’s curriculum is based on proven theoretical principles and provides experiences that instill in youth a desire to achieve academically. The program works with elementary, middle, and high school aged boys. HCHE partners with local schools, as an auxiliary and supplement to their standard curriculum. The HCHE program is based on a Male Enhancement Mentoring Implementation Model, which explores four basic areas of development: Academic, Personal, Leadership, and Social.
